Trust In Nature

Every system, organ, cell, muscle, nerve and bone in the human body needs proper nutrition for optimal health. Mangosteen is beneficial to every area of the human body.

Why would anyone want to use a drug when a food can provide the same or better results, without side effects?

Research on Mangosteen

Anti-Bacterial, Antibiotic
The xanthones, alpha and gamma mangostin have also been proven to reduce histamine levels in animals and kill bacteria (such as staphylococcus) and viruses (such as HIV-1)

Two of mangosteen's xanthones, alpha and gamma mangostin, are proven to block the COX-2 enzyme, which is the enzyme responsible for creating inflammation and pain throughout the body. (This is the same mechanism by which the most common class of arthritis drugs work).

Inflammation plays a major role in numerous health ailments, including: Arthritis, Back Pain, Heart Attack, Headache, Multiple Sclerosis, Circulatory Impairment, Any Kind of Infections

Antioxidants, Anti-Aging
Xanthones in mangosteen contain antioxidants that are 5 times more powerful than the antioxidants found in vitamins C and E.At least 8 of mangosteen's compounds are rich in antioxidant properties: mangostin, gamma-mangostins, polysaccharides, quinones, stilbenes, anthrocyanin, and catechins.

A new laboratory test known as ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) has also shown that an ounce of mangosteen has 20 to 30 times the ability to absorb free radicals than one ounce of most fruits and vegetables. The ORAC test is one of the most accurate ways to measure the power of antioxidants.

Brain Function, Memory
Stops the damage of brain cells so they grow and divide properly and helps the cell walls and the neurotransmitters function properly -- beneficial for Alzheimer’s and all types of memory loss.

In a 1998 study, Japanese scientists successfully demonstrated mangosteen's quinones ability to stop the growth of human colon cancer cells. Other studies have proven mangosteen effective against breast cancer, skin cancer, leukemia, just to name a few.

According to the National Institutes of Health, xanthones have chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic effects in different stages of carcinogenesis (initiation, promotion, and progression) and are known to control cell division and growth, apoptosis, inflammation, and metastasis. Multiple lines of evidence from numerous studies have confirmed that xanthones effectively prevent cancer growth by interfering with the signal pathways that cancer cells use to communicate and survive in the human body.

Cholesterol (Lower)
The xanthones (alpha and gamma mangostin) have been shown to promote heart health by preventing the oxidation of LDL (the "bad" cholesterol that clogs blood vessels). If there is no oxidized cholesterol, then there is no plaque to clog the arteries.

Lungs: COPD, Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis
Mangosteen helps in 3 ways:
1. Anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal effects can reduce the frequency of lung infections, which reduces cumulative tissue damage.

2. Anti-inflammatory effects decrease inflammation and cell damage while also helping to prevent deadly pulmonary hypertension.

3. Antioxidant effects help fight free radical damage associated with inflammation caused by chronic bronchitis or the destruction of the elastic recoil of the alveoli in emphysema.

Sleep (Better)
Xanthones have a proven link with serotonin, an imbalance of which is known to cause sleep dysfunction.

Research on Noni (a.k.a. Morinda)

Used for 100s of years to support the entire body and to treat a wide range of symptoms including: poor digestion, high blood pressure, respiratory problems and immune deficiency.

Chinese scientists have identified 3 anti-depressant compounds in Noni: Inulin, Succinicacid, and Nystose. Plus the Xeronine in noni opens brain receptor sites, allowing brain to receive more endorphins (feel-good chemicals).

Noni reduces pain and swelling, strengthens weak bones and ligaments. Many people with rheumatoid arthritis have reported a rapid increase in the ability to walk.

Noni contains naturals antioxidants that support kidney function and help flush toxins from the body.

Energy & Stamina

Increases energy, stamina, and endurance.

Sexual Problems

Noni contains chemicals that stimulate male sexual function and may help impotence and fertility problems, and menstrual problems in women.

Research on Boswellia Serrata

One of the most ancient and respected herbs in Ayurvedic healing. Also known as “Indian Frankinscence”.

Researchers have found boswellia is a potent anti-inflammatory. It relieves pain in the same manner as arthritis drug, Celebrex, without the negative side effects. Laboratory studies have shown that boswellic acids de-activate hormonal triggers for inflammation and pain in osteoarthritis. They also effectively shrink inflamed tissue by stimulating growth of cartilage and increase blood supply to inflamed joints and enhance the repair of blood vessel damaged by inflammation. Clinical studies have yielded good results in both rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Several studies have reported dramatic improvement within 2 to 4 weeks.

Dry Skin

Boswellia rejuvenates the skin by encouraging new cells to develop and also helps oil production in cases of dry skin.

Research on Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)

Dr. Lester Packer, Molecular & Cell Biology professor at Univ. of California, Berkeley, who is considered one of the world's leading antioxidant researchers, describes Alpha Lipoic Acid as "an ideal antioxidant."

ALA is the only antioxidant which is both fat and water-soluble, which makes it easily absorbed and transported across cell membranes to protect against free radical damage both inside and outside the cell, unlike most other antioxidants which only protect outside the cells. The structure of ALA is very small which allows it to easily slip through cell membranes, which most antioxidants are too large to pass through.

ALA also recycles and regenerates other antioxidants including vitamin C and vitamin E.

ALA acts as an antioxidant in its origin form and also in its reduced form, DHLA. Most antioxidants (like vitamin C and E) can act as an antioxidant only in their reduced forms. After they have donated an electron, they are "used up" unless they are regenerated by another antioxidant like ALA.

• Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is used throughout Europe to control blood sugar & for the prevention and treatment of diabetic complications, such as retinopathy, neuropathy, renal disease and atherosclerosis.

• ALA reduces diabetic neuropathy & has been found to reverse nerve damage.

Eye Problems / Vision

• ALA helps to prevent cataracts, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration.

Heart Disease / Vascular Conditions

• ALA wards off heart disease by protecting against Apolprotein damage of coronary arteryl wall.

• ALA has been found to speed recovery following heart attack and stroke.

• ALA is a vascular protective agent -- for varicose veins, leg cramps, easy bruising and hemorrhoids.

• ALA improves circulation in cases of cold hands, cold feet, cold nose, etc.

Neurological Diseases / Memory / Nerves / Brain

• ALA is useful for neurological diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, stroke, and spinal cord injuries.

• ALA improves memory in older individuals.

• ALA helps slow progression of Alzheimer's.

• ALA may protect against Parkinson's.

• ALA removes heavy metals from the body, which may be beneficial in cases of Alzheimer’s.
